There are a few things you need to be aware of, though. That's
why we've outlined some motor home driving
tips to make things easier and more enjoyable for you. Also,
you are welcome to test drive any RV as many times as you wish.
We want you to feel comfortable with the RV you choose.

5) Are there special terms or conditions

a minimum of 3 nights and provide us 48 hours advance notice.

6) Do you require a deposit for a reservation
or damage?
Yes, we require both. Please see our price
list for the exact amount.
A reservation deposit will be charged to your credit card at
the time of your reservation. This reservation deposit will be
applied to the total rental fee on the day of pickup.
A damage deposit will be charged to your credit card at the time
of your departure, and varies according to the size of the RV
you are renting. Your damage deposit will be refunded barring
any damages. However, any extensive mileage or generator usage
will be deducted from your damage deposit upon return.

7) Are there any additional charges
to anticipate?
In addition to the rental fee, there is a prep fee. Other potential
fees that can incur would be for generator usage, mileage, damage,
gasoline and tax. Please see our price
list for the exact fees.
Typical generator usage averages 1.5 hours per day. A generator
runs the electrical devices in the RV. However, you can minimize
this expense by staying in a campsite that provides electrical
hookups.
Mileage fees can be calculated in house per destination. Consult
one of our Rental Agents for further details.
Naturally, your travels will require you to purchase gas. You
can estimate between 8 to 12 miles per gallon under normal conditions.
Remember, the generator also uses this same gas resource.
To take the hassle out of estimating the price for your trip,
call us. RVs To Go-Venice has
trained rental agents that will be happy to calculate the total
price for your rental.

8) Do I have to run to generator
in order to use the RV?
In order to run the AC appliances you must run the generator
or be plugged in to an electrical supply. This is true for use
of the air conditioner, microwave oven, television, and AC lights.
While you are at a campground you can plug in and operate these
appliances on shore power. Ask your rental agent if you have any
further questions.

9) Can I take my pet in the RV?
We offer one unit for those who wish to take along their pets.
Please be sure to mention you want the pet-friendly RV when making
your reservation.

10) Do you allow smoking in the RV?
No. Under no circumstances can you smoke in the RV - not even
while driving.
Unfortunately, smoke odors quickly absorb into the RV interior
and are extremely difficult to remove. Therefore, we must impose
very stiff penalties for any smoke damage, no matter how minor.
If you want to smoke, we recommend you go outside on the downwind
side of the RV.

11) While traveling, how many people
are allowed to ride in the RV?
The number of people allowed to ride in an RV equals the number
of seat belts in the RV. Typically, this ranges from 5 to 10 people.
Call us and we can help you determine what RV size you need.

12) What items should I pack for my
trip?

13) Can I leave my car or any other
items (i.e. suitcase) at the rental facility while we are traveling?
We suggest that you pickup your RV with another driver so that
you can return home with your car and the RV. Once home, you can
pack your clothes directly rather than bringing a suitcase to
our rental facility.
If you must leave your car with us, it is entirely at your own
risk, and you will need to make arrangements in advance. If you
bring suitcases and want to store them after you unpack, you'll
need to make arrangements for this in advance too!

14) Can you pick me up and/or
drop me off at the airport?
This service can be arranged for a nominal fee. Please contact
us to make arrangements for this in advance.

15) Do you lock your awnings, so that
we cannot use them?
No. However, awnings are one of the most frequently damaged items
due to unpredictable wind conditions. You may use the awning -
just remember that you are responsible for any damage. As an alternative,
you might consider bringing a canopy or staying in an RV park
that provides for shade.

16) Can I tow a car or boat behind the
RV?
NO, you cannot tow a boat or car, but you can tow a small trailer.
We allow a maximum tongue weight of up to 200 lbs. and a maximum
gross weight of 2500 lbs. There is an additional charge of $25
per day for towing. Towing is limited to specific RVs, so you
must make arrangements for towing in advance in order to reserve
an RV with a receiver hitch.

17) Do you provide bike racks?
Yes. Bike racks are available to be rented that carry up to 4
bikes. The bike rack mounts on the receiver hitch. Thus, towing
would not be available in conjunction with a bike rack rental.

fees to you.
